Surgical Tech/Medical Assistant
Description
Multiple Provider Outpatient Vein Center is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Ft Myers/Bonita Springs offices to become a part of our team! Candidate must exhibit ability to multi-task in a fast paced medical practice while demonstrating proficiency and accuracy. Medical Insurance, 401K, PTO and excellent benefits offered. Vein Specialists has on-boarded many Medical Assistants who have gone on to Physician Assistant School, so if this is your goal, come join us!
Duties
Responsibility:
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff & multiple Providers in growing multi-location practice.
- Administer vitals, update patient medication lists and room patients.
- Ability to make patient calls to address patient’s needs and clinical questions
- Ability to utilize & navigate EMR to make appointments and MA clinical charting.
- Desire and ability to learn Medical Scribe responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
- Experience with EMR
- Medical terminology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys working with the care and well being of patients
- Desires a healthy work environment and culture
- Bi-lingual a plus but not mandatory
